Clauger Supports the Innovative Seppi Gaz Project by BioRenGaz in Issenheim (FR)

A Partnership to Accelerate the Energy Transition and Valorize Agri-Food Effluents

Clauger is strengthening its commitment to the energy transition by actively supporting the Seppi Gaz project, led by BioRenGaz in Issenheim, France.

This innovative anaerobic digestion initiative aims to convert organic effluents from the agri-food industry into renewable biogas.

A Breakthrough Technology at the Core of the Project

At the heart of the project is a patented thermophilic bioreactor (80 m³) designed to process “white water” effluents from the nearby Alpro Sojinal food production site. This cutting-edge technology, already validated at industrial scale (TRL7 and TRL9), offers significant performance advantages:

  • 4 times higher productivity compared to conventional anaerobic reactors,

  • Up to 10 times more compact footprint,

  • 75% lower operating costs.
