Brignais, June 29, 2021 –Clauger announced today that it has agreed with GEA to acquire GEA’s refrigeration installation and service operations in Spain and Italy, strategically expanding, and supporting Clauger’s existing networks and teams in both geographic zones. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction, which is still subject to customary closing conditions. Closing of the transaction is expected in autumn 2021.
Clauger, a family-owned company, has grown continually from its inception in 1971 when Paul Minssieux founded Clauger in France. Through strategic actions and a focus on customer satisfaction, innovation, and our people, Clauger has grown from 1 to over 1,600 people in 50 years. With over 15 subsidiaries worldwide and activity in over 90 countries, the people remain central to the success of Clauger. The integration of these new teams will support the growth of Clauger’s international presence and reinforce the ability to better serve clients.
